Sad…

sad-face.jpg

Sad..I just found a post on Rumor Queen that had come out over the weekend, about the cut off date. I missed it, apparently so did almost every other adoptive Mom checking the site. She had it buried between posts about virtual sight seeing in China. (who cares about that). The post indicates that the CCAA only matched through March 28th, not the 29th as rumored and not the entire month of March. That is only 4 days, yep count them four. That leaves us with 10 days. I am sad that the referrals for September have not been mailed, YET!!!!!! Come on CCAA, get them out. Maybe even a bit angry! I am sad and fearful that they won’t match for October and if they do it will take until late November to get them in the mail. I am sad because it looks as though we may not be getting our referral in November and travel in December. I am sad that we still have 10 count them 10 LID’s days to go. I am sad that my daughter lay in a crib in China waiting for me and that I am not able to do anything about it, but pray. I am sad..

42 MONTHS OF WAITING!

42.jpg

Yesterday, October 7th, was our 42nd month anniversary of being logged into China. I’m late with this post. I knew it and just never got around to posting. I was hoping that we would hear more rumors about them finally mailing the September referrals. No such luck. I guess the CCAA is still on vacation and hopefully they will get the referrals out early next week. I would be a mess if it was our turn and we were skipped. I just hope and pray that the CCAA doesn’t skip matching in October. That would BITE! It has been way too quite, we don’t really know about the cut off for the referrals coming, will it be March 29th or will they finish the entire month. One could only wish!! Anyway, another month closer to our girl. I pray each day, several times a day for my daughter. I hope she is safe, warm, well fed and knows the loving touch of her Nannies. I continue to hope for a referral in November and to travel in December. What a Christmas present that would be!! As always, prayers and well wishes are welcome!!
