HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY HUBBY!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY WONDERFUL HUBBY! LET’S PRAY THAT NEXT YEAR WE HAVE A LITTLE ONE TO HELP US CELEBRATE! HERE’S TO MANY, MANY MORE!
LOVE YOU
No commentsFINALLY!
The past few weeks have been terrible to say the least and today we FINALLY got some good news. There were rumors and facts that due to the Swine Flu, China had put all referrals and travel appointments on hold. In fact there are still numerous families waiting to get travel approval from their referring province.I can’t even imagine their pain, having a photo of your child an not being able to travel to pick them up. NOT GOOD.
On to better news, much better news, our agency and RQ have both said that the CCAA has changed their website to read that they have matched families through March 14, 2006. They matched 6 days, woo-hoo!!!

That means we are 24, yes 24 LID’s away from Grace. Now, if we can only get the CCAA to continue to match about 6 days each month. And of course we need to continue to pray that the media keeps the nonesense about the Swine Flu to themselves and China opens back up for travel. Lots of Prayers are still needed.

37 Months and still counting..
Thirty seven months today, that’s how long our paperwork has been sitting in China. We were a bit hopeful last month when they matched more than one day. Now the media has gotten ahold of the Swine Flu and hyped it up!! Things have been in an uproar! Rumors that matching has stopped, travel appointments are being made, no one is being allowed into China for adoption. It’s crazy! I got myself all worked up last week but mostly at the STUPID MEDIA. Being a nurse and knowing the facts, why don’t they focus on the seasonal flu here in the USA and the LARGE number of deaths related to that each year. Maybe this mess will draw more attention to why Americans need to get Flu shots and to vaccinate their kids! Enough already about the Swine flu!! Go back to focusing on that stupid women, Octu-uterus, ( I refuse to call her a Mom) that had 8 kids that we are all paying for.
Bad mood can you tell??? I continue to pray that we will see referrals soon and that the numbers each month will go up!! Things have been busy here. We have our son graduating in 2 weeks from high school, so I am busy trying to get the party arranged and the announcements sent out! He will be leaving in August for the University of Michigan. We are so very proud of him. I am a bit sad that he will be off at school when we finally do receive our referral for Grace!! Thank God for webcams!
