Our Girl Grace

Last night while I was filling the small plastic eggs with goodies and putting together the Easter Baskets for the family, I kept thinking about Grace. I  had picked up a couple Easter baskets for her last year after Easter at Target and they sit empty in  her room. So sad….I wonder if the CCAA will speed up their process? Will we have her in time for Easter next year? We will have her for Christmas 2009? Will we even receive our referral this year?? Such a mystery, I guess it is all in God’s time.

IT’S OFFICIAL AS OF TODAY APRIL 7, 2009, OUR PAPERWORK HAS BEEN SITTING IN CHINA FOR 3 YEARS! YEP, 36 MONTHS, 1095 DAYS,  YOU GET THE DRIFT. NEVER, EVER DID I IMAGINE IT WOULD TAKE THIS LONG.

On a side note, referrals came out last Friday, well sort of….not really sure what the heck went on this month, families with LID of 3-7-06 did and did not receive referrals, 3-8-06 received referrals and some 3-9-06 did and did not receive referrals. So much for a speed up. I have got to stop reading RQ and getting  my hopes up. It’s just too painful. If indeed they change the box to reflect that they have matched only 3-7 and 3-8-6 we now have 30 LID’s left to match. I don’t even have the strength to image how many more painful months we have to wait!! Did I mention depressing??

So, we wait, hope and pray….
