Our Girl Grace

I haven’t picked anything up for Grace in awhile, but when I spotted this little number on Janie & Jack I knew Miss Grace had to have it! I also picked one up for my friend Megan’s daughter! I love the Asian style fan.

Today on the way to the shop I switched from my usual radio station only to find that on another station they were playing Christmas carols. I thought it might have been a fluke.. nope all Christmas songs!! I really need to get my shopping started!

I did make a purchase today for Grace. This will be our fourth, yes fourth, Christmas since we started this adoption process without our daughter. I am praying that she is home by next year. I bought this beautiful ornament from Stephanie over at JIINKINSKIDS.COM. She creates beautiful handmade dolls, prints and ornaments. Go over and check her out!

And I am hoping that for Christmas of 2009 I can purchase this beauty.

Last night I had another dream about our daughter. I don’t remember all of the dream but I do remember that she had an October birthday. I kept thinking, okay, we have February, April, May, June, etc birthdays in our family but no October birthdays. I looked back in the archives of our site to February. I remembered that Paul and I had a dream on the same night. In that dream I also thought she might have an October birthday. I’m wondering……

I just emailed our agency and our consultant emailed back to say that the CCAA has begun matching!
