Come… Ride The Referral Rollercoaster……..

Well, it’s that time of month again, the referral rumors are starting to surface. There are rumors that say the CCAA will match from January 5, 2006 through January 10, 2006. And another states that the 13th of January maybe included in this batch. We really need this month to be a big batch!!! Remember, there are 94 days between us and receiving our referral. So, everybody get ready, hang on tight and let’s see where this month takes us!! This time of the month is not for the faint of heart, come to think of it, this whole adoption process is not for the faint of heart!
No commentsHave A Blessed Easter 2008!

Once again we are asking that you keep our Pastor Fr. Bob in your prayers, he was recently re-hospitalized for pneumonia, and came home earlier this week. We know it is difficult for him to be away from his parish family during Holy Week. Please join us in saying the following Novena to Solanus Casey, for Fr. Bob’s healing.
O God, I adore you. I give myself to you.
May I be the person You want me to be,
and may Your will be done in my life today.
I thank You for the gifts You gave
to Father Solanus.
If it is Your Will, bless us with the beatification
of Venerable Solanus so that others may
imitate and carry on his love for all the poor
and suffering of our world.
As he joyfully accepted Your divine plans,
I ask You, according to Your will,
to hear my prayer for Father Bob
through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
“Blessed be God in all His designs.”

Happy St. Patrick’s Day to all! Last night we attended our local St. Patrick’s Day party, which is actually a fund raiser for the big festival in September. It was fun to see everyone dressed in green, enjoying the music, food and fellowship! We enjoyed watching the Irish dance troop from the Detroit area. I told Paul that since I am half Irish, I would love to see our daughter learn to Irish dance. Wouldn’t she be the cutest Asian/Irish/Greek/Polish/American little girl on the dance floor! Oh, so many possibilities and opportunities she will have!!
Don’t forget to wear your green! May the Luck of the Irish be with you! Blessings to all!
No comments23 Months of Waiting……………..

Well, today marks our 23rd month of waiting to meet our daughter Grace Elizabeth. We began our adoption process back in October of 2005, so we have been at this 29 months. We are thankful that the CCAA finally matched into our year 2006! Now if we can only get them to speed up the number of days they match. Remember there are 94 days between us and our daughter. I really hope and pray that we will have Grace in our arms before the end of this year. Christmas in China would be the best gift ever, of course we would be happy to go sooner! (Hey, a girl can dream can’t she?) We continue to ask for your prayers as we make this journey.
2 commentsReferral time!
Well, it looks as though the CCAA matched 8 days again. Matching forever families who had LID’s of December 28, 2005 to January 4, 2006. At least they are in the year 2006! We are exactly 94 Log In Days away! If you take 94 divided by 8 days, that would give us 12 more months of waiting!! We continue to pray that the orphanages will get more children “paper ready” and that the CCAA will speed up their process and match more days. As we approach our 23rd month anniversary of waiting………..
