Request for Continued Prayers
Thank you to all who have kept our Pastor, Fr. Bob in your prayers. He did have the surgery last week to remove the mass on his pancreas. He has had a very difficult post op week, trying to get his pain under control. He returned to the operating room earlier this week for exploratory surgery and is now in Intensive Care fighting an infection. Please continue to pray for his relief from pain, a negative pathology report (which is still pending), his complete and speedy recovery, for his family, our parish family and for his medical team at Spectrum Heatlh. Fr. Bob has been there for so many of us during difficult times, we must now surround him in our love and prayers. Thank you.

We were saddened to learn today that our Pastor, Fr. Bob has been hospitalized for a mass on his pancreas. He is undergoing testing for pancreatic cancer and will have surgery this week to remove the mass. He will have a long road ahead of him and is in need of our love, support and mostly our prayers. Fr. Bob is a wonderful man, who married Paul and I, presided over Paul’s Dad’s funeral mass and is who we want to baptize Grace. I am asking that you please say a special prayer for him, for his family, our church family and his physicians. Also, please ask everyone you know to pray for him. We know how powerful prayer is and that miracles can happen. Thank you.
Blessings to you all.
No comments18 Months of waiting……

Well it’s official our paperwork has been logged in for 18 months as of today. They just gave out referrals and although the CCAA website hasn’t been updated, they got through 5, yes five days. They matched families who had an LID of November 25th through November 30, 2005. And yes our LID is April 7, 2006. We remain hopeful that the CCAA will begin to increase referrals once they get through 2005. I am praying that we can receive our referral before August of 2008. I am so ready to have our daughter home with us!
On another note, we are closely following our friends from Molly and Chris, on their journey to bring Lili home. Molly left on Thursday with her son, Nick and her Mother in Law. Chris her husband stayed home with their daughter. They flew to Chicago, took off for China and had to turn back around 3 hours into the flight due to technical difficulties. They flew out of Chicago the following day and did arrive safely! They will have forever family day tomorrow! We can’t wait to see photos. Please keep them in your prayers.
We are planning a get together with some families from our travel group in a few weeks. I haven’t met the two couples who have replied. I am so looking forward to meeting them and I think it will be good for us to begin our networking. We have all been through so much already…
