Everybody Loves a Brown Eyed Girl!

I found one! I have been seeing this shirt on all the adoption blogs and decided I wanted one. I found it in a size 24months, the smallest they had and I bought it! I think Grace Elizabeth will look just beautiful in it!!!!

Our weekend at Unity Festival 2007

unity2007_logo.jpg

This weekend Muskegon hosts the one of the largest Christian Music Festivals, Unity 2007. It is a three day festival focused on the best Christian music, food, fellowship and family fun! Our very dear friends Shannon and his wife Lisa are very involved in putting the festival together. They introduced us to the festival, and Shannon was actually responsible for getting our book, Shoey and The Dot by Steven Curtis Chapman signed last year at Festival. We are eternally grateful to him for this precious gift. And to Steven Curtis Chapman for autographing such a personal message to our daughter Grace. In addition, we are thankful for all the ministry Steven and his wife Marybeth do with Adoption.

Last night we heard Jars of Clay and Casting Crowns on the main stage. Both bands were awesome! Tonight’s headliners are Mark Schultz and Mercy Me! We put our chairs in line last night, so we could be some of the first in the gates, then this morning Paul got up at 6AM and went down to sit in them until the line officially moved at 7AM. Then our friend Denise and her daughter Breanna went down at 10A and waited until the gates opened. She called to tell us that she is three blankets away from the stage!! Yeah!! No need for binoculars. We will meet them after I close the shop today. We are bringing Paul’s Mom tonight, she went with us last year to hear Steven Curtis Chapman and enjoyed it. It is truly an amazing site to see between 14,000-17,000 people worshiping together. I will try to post some photos.
